Here’s a real treat for Lena Headey fans, Waterland, one of her first films. Here she is about sixteen years of age, bright eyed, youthful, no tattoos, and remarkably gifted, she showed tremendous potential in this film. The film itself is excellent. The story line intriguing, it’s a bit of an emotional roller coaster with a sickening twist at the end, for my sensibilities anyway. Although a bit predictable, maybe just a few too many clues, the final scenes were quite good. I have to say I really enjoyed Lena in this film, a very solid performance. With respect to the story line, well let’s just say this film should be shown in place of sex ed. in all high schools, particularly Catholic ones, and that’s all I have to say with out spoiling the plot too much. If you're truly a Lena fan, don’t miss this movie!
